Rembrandt and the Art of the 17th Century
Come
to the library for a free slide lecture and preview of an exciting new art
exhibit! Opening February 14, and running through May 19, the Seattle Art
Museum is hosting an impressive exhibit of Dutch and English art: Rembrandt,
Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London.
Known as the
Iveagh Bequest, the collection includes approximately 50 major works by
Gainsborough, Franz Hals, Rembrandt, Reynolds, Romney, Turner, and Anthony Van Dyck, among
others.
